Lodge Trimurty No. 294 Social Service Initiatives
Our lodge is committed to serving the community through various social service projects. These initiatives reflect our Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth in action, making a positive impact on society.




Matoshree Old Aged Home - Kitchen Construction
Lodge Trimurty No. 294 undertook the construction of a kitchen facility at Matoshree Old Aged Home. This project ensures that elderly residents have access to proper cooking facilities and nutritious meals.
Pyaoo Water Service Project
A water distribution facility (Pyaoo) was inaugurated at Freemasons Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur. During the summer months of April, May, and June, the lodge provided free water service to the community. Rs. 4,095 was spent on running the project, with an additional Rs. 2,500 for painting and maintenance.




Educational Support Projects
On 26 January 2012, brethren presented sports equipment and indoor games to students of the Deaf and Dumb School, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur. The school serves around 655 hearing-impaired children who have excelled in various activities at state and national levels.
Essential books for standards I to IX were donated to needy students of the Deaf and Dumb School. The lodge also supported students with notebook donations and educational materials.
Medical and Healthcare Support
Rs. 15,000 was donated to Mr. Kestav Naik, a student of LIT College, Nagpur, who was suffering from kidney failure. The lodge's timely intervention helped in his complete recovery.
Rs. 4,000 worth of medicine was donated to Miss Kumkum Rai for tumor treatment. The lodge also contributed Rs. 5,000 for orthopedic treatment of a senior citizen.




Food Distribution Programs
Rs. 21,000 worth of food grains (Dhanya Dhan) was distributed at Brahaspati Mandir Chowki, in collaboration with Orange City Mark Lodge No. 122.
A continuous food grain and vegetable donation project was undertaken with assistance from Center Point School, Dhaba. Every Friday, the lodge donates food grains worth Rs. 1,000.
Special Community Events
In collaboration with Lodge Golden Orange No. 304 and JCI Patriot, the lodge helped 725 differently-abled children watch the movie "BARFI". This program brought joy and entertainment to special needs children.
On Valentine's Day 2012, lodge members organized games and talent shows for residents of Panchvati Vrudha Ashram, spending Rs. 3,500 on snacks and sweets.
Emergency and Infrastructure Support
Rs. 62,000 was contributed towards the construction of a mortuary room at Freemasons Hall, Nagpur. Additional funds of Rs. 1,500 were spent on repairs.
During the tragic collapse of a cold storage building in Nagpur, Bro. Devendra Matte provided his personal cutting machine to expedite rescue operations, demonstrating the lodge's commitment to community service.
Annual Impact Summary
During the year 2012, Lodge Trimurty No. 294 collected Rs. 1,69,945 in cash donations and disbursed the entire amount within the year for various charitable activities. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the lodge's commitment to immediate community support.
The lodge also maintains a Medi-Equi Library with hospital beds and walkers available for community use, with Rs. 9,100 collected annually for maintenance and new equipment.
